MAS Rollerblade France, the defending team overall winners in the FIC

For four seasons now, the national team of rollerblade france has won the overall ranking of the french inline cup. this result is the proof of the constance of the team and the good spirit within the partners. last season, the team-mates made some very good months of september and october, taking podiums and top ranking places. this season, with just one changing, the team hopes to continue on this good way... or do better!

The main changing in 2006 will be the integration in the team of Julien Despaux. the young athlete (22) has shown in the last four seasons he was one of the best elites in France, also taking podiums at the European championships and good results at the world's. Julien is a sprinter and will give an interesting balance to the team, which based the tactic on attacks and breaks in the past.

The other new comer is Antoine Jacquier (26). antoine made constant progess since 2003 and was able last season to take intersting place into the marathons of the FIC (fourth rank in Rouen, fifth in Nîmes). He will be the "other side" of Julien, guarantying his tempo in the pack and being able to control the movements of the adversaries.

The other team mates remains the same than in 2005: Maxime Provost, Damien Cochet and Vincent Esnault are now used to race together and managed to build an efficient tactic. During the FIC 2005 stages, they prooved they were able to take podiums and results in all king of marathons, such as plane ones (Maxime 4 in Lille and 3 in Rouen and Nîmes, Vincent 5 in Rouen and 4 in Nîmes) or up hilled ones (Vincent 3 in les Herbiers and Damien 6). They also demonstrate that in difficult moments, they could be strong: they only raced the team time trial of Dijon in three (against teams of four or five) and took a good second place there, at five seconds of the win.
